Prince Rogers Nelson, the legendary songwriter and performer of genres like funk, rock, R&B, died on Thursday at Paisley Park studio and estate in Minnesota.
His publicist, Yvette Noel-Shcure announcd his death but did not confirm a cause.
Carver County sheriff, Jim Olson received an emergency call at 9:43 a.m.
Prince was found unresponsive in an elevator.
He was pronounced deceased at 10:07 a.m.
